I have problems standing on a cold hard floor barefoot because I have really high arches and I have to stand most of the day at work so by the time I come home my feet are ususally tired to begin with. Cooking and doing dishes in my kitchen barefoot killed my feet and it was always a pain to have to wear my cross trainers with arch supports everytime I wanted to make food or do chores at home. Other kitchen mats and rugs just were not thick or large enough and many of them were hard to clean and trapped dirt. These mats totally solved my problem! You can configure them into any shape like a puzzle, you can easily cut them to fit any size, they aren’t slippery when wet, they are lightweight, they are durable, they don’t cost much, they clean up easily and the textured surface actually feels good on bare feet and provides great support. The only drawbacks are that they are a bit slippery when you wear certain socks and they’re not much to look at visually but if you have a contempoary kitchen or a dark tile floor they don’t look bad. They are functional and the best thing I have found so far for people with foot problems. Considering how much these have helped me I think they deserve 5 stars. My only wish is that one day this company will make the same product in other colors so they can blend into a variety of decors more easily. Until then, I will add that they are fairly easy to cover with a rug.

These mats are a great value. We put ours in front of a work bench in the garage. Easy to clean off, don’t trap sawdust and other particles. I really like that you can configure them to fit your space too. Each mat is 2ft x 2ft, and if you place them with the borders it makes a 2 tile by 3 tile rectangle (about 4ft x 6 ft). Because of the puzzle piece edge, you can lay them out in a different configuration but you may not have enough straight border to go around the perimeter.

My husband is always working in the basement on the hard concrete. He contantly complains that his feet hurt. I bought these mats for him and he really likes them. They are easy to move around and place in different areas and configurations to fill his needs. They are much better than the cardboard that he was standing on. We would recommend these to anyone with the same issue.
