Several issues with this floor tile:
I bought these to install in a small camper.
1: The pattern in not designed to be alternating small squares 6inh by 6inch but form large 12inch by 12inch black and white squares. Which would be fine in a large open space but in a small area IE a 2foot wide hallway all you would have is a large black square the a large white square and no checkerboard pattern. If you lay the tile so it alternates the black and white grid on each tile will not match or line up to the next tile, so you end up with crooked checkerboard pattern.
2: These are very thin and almost fragile. The corners snap and brake off the tile easy, sometimes when just peeling the paper off the back.
3: The adhesive is the worst part. I have installed several other sticky tiles and NEVER had them rip skin off my fingers, OUCH!! So I switched to a work gloves and the adhesive stuck to the gloves like glue. As you try to pull the back paper off the adhesive gets on the gloves and then as you touch the top of the tile to place it the adhesive comes off and leaves gummy sticky marks on the tile. Nothing better then spending another couple hours cleaning the adhesive off with goo-gone.
4: The paper backing rips very easy and most times leaves areas where you have to pick the paper off, IE like the middle of the tile.
Over all if I was not under a time pinch and had to get a floor laid down I would have returned these tiles and either looked for some other company who made a black and white checkerboard tile.

Great for what it is. I’d use it again. Great adhesive quality-buy an extra box for your trim screw ups or for (if needed) future repair. Install when floor & tile are warm. Make sure surface is prepped & clean. I did a re-tile cover up on an old peel and stick-all went great.Not industrial quality-but a great deal for the price.Made my wife happy.
